What’s Special? 

This piece combines a classic through-mortise and tenon joinery with a modern look. 

Mortise and Tenon Joinery is a traditional woodworking technique used for joining two pieces of wood. It involves creating a "tenon" (a protruding piece) on one piece of wood and a matching "mortise" (a hole or slot) in the other piece. The tenon fits snugly into the mortise, creating a strong, interlocking joint.

In a through-mortise, the mortise goes all the way through the wood, so the tenon can be seen from both sides of the joined pieces. This not only adds strength but also showcases the craftsmanship of the joinery. Together with modern aesthetics this piece is perfect for potluck dinners or family brunches.
